specialize only in IBM compatible systems, sorry, no Apple
computers. And we still do house calls. We can repair the system
on site or allow us to bring it back to our repair center. The
only difference is that we will charge you an hourly price while
our tech is on site. If you allow the tech to repair it back at
the center we will give you an estimate before starting the
repair. Usually at a much cheaper cost.
Repairing a computer
deals with either the Operating system or the Hardware (parts).
We can repair all IBM compatible systems,
if the
repair extends only to the Operating system... like portioning
the hard drive and re-formatting, getting all the proper drivers
running right, and make sure that all the version of DOS or
Windows are working correctly. When dealing with the Hardware,
that's another story.
We repair
most major compatible IBM computer Hardware. Proprietary
computers like Compaq, Dell, HP and Sony and other major brands
may or may not have a higher repair cost. And may sometimes take
a little longer to repair. We cater to no brand systems (white
boxes). These types of computers are cost effective and can
usually be repaired in 2 days.
Cost of repair...
Repair on site
will be billed as Labor at $45/ hr and billed per hour and not
by minute while on site and the price of the part replaced.
Repair at the
Center will be billed as Labor estimated time of repair by the
actual hours worked and the price of the part replaced.
